Though Curt was born in New Orleans, Curt Landes was calling St. Louis, Missouri his home by his teenage years. His music career has taken him through most of the U.S. and into Canada.
Some noteworthy highlights are performances in St. Louis with Chuck Berry, a U.S. tour with blues legend Albert King, playing organ alongside “Rock & Of Hall Of Fame” pianist Johnnie Johnson, concerts w/ the St. Louis Symphony and even playing a for a nationally broadcast TV special under the St. Louis arch with Glen Campbell & John Hartford. Curt Landes has also opened shows for singer Phoebe Snow, jazz innovators “The Yellowjackets”, pop jazz band “Spyrogyra”, comedian David Brenner, country singers Mickey Gilley & Johnny Lee and more.
Curt often plays around town in many different configurations including famed duos with Vince Martin and Al Oxenhandler. His repertoire of both jazz and popular music is unparalleled.
