Pennsylvania Slim

Pennsylvania Slim

Pennsylvania Slim and his Band have been performing Blues, R&B, Soul, Jump Swing and 50’s Rock-n-Roll from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s for over fifteen years. The band consists of piano and drums and can be augmented by bass and horns. Pennsylvania Slim leads the band on vocals as well as lead guitar, slide guitar and harmonica. Many of the instruments date back to the 50’s and 60’s, successfully capturing the authentic blues period sound.

Watch legendary performers Muddy Waters, Magic Sam, Howling Wolf, Jimmy Reed, Ray Charles, Elmore James and others converge for a night of unforgettable blues classics. T-Bone walker joins in playing guitar behind his head while standing on a chair. Little Walter blows his piercing harp, Elmore James shows why he is the King of Slide and Howling Wolf’s gravelly voice reverberates throughout the crowd. In addition to these classic covers, Pennsylvania Slim performs originals in step with the Blues tradition.

Pennsylvania Slim has shared the stage with Blues greats such as James Harman, Junior Watson and Rusty Zinn. The band plays at casinos, hotels, parks, wineries and festivals all over the region. Pennsylvania can perform solo, as a duo or as a full band.
