The Blue Notes
The band specializes in forgotten songs from the 20’s to the 40’s and sprinkles in a dash of some of everyone’s favorite standards. Sarah Jane and The Blue Notes are one of the most festive dance bands in St. Louis. It’s a sound that seamlessly blends speakeasy, New Orleans dixieland, Harlem night club, juke joint, big band swing with a touch of old time blues.

Sarah Jane has been featured in Billie Holiday revues, torch song revues, and The Great Ladies of Jazz Revue. They are a favorite among local festivals and have performed at Art Deco Weekend 2013, 2014,2015, 2016 & 2017 in Miami Beach, the Old Webster Jazz and Blues Festival, the Whitaker Music Festival, The Clayton Art Fair, The Benton Park Concert Series,The Glendale Jazz Festival, The Carondelet Concert Series in Fanetti Park, and The Maplewood Concert Series.
The band is available as a duet up to an 8 piece band.
It’s a sound that’s sure to keep any joint jumpin’ into the wee hours. Sarah Jane and the Blue Notes are available for clubs, bars, restaurants, private parties, weddings, receptions and all other occasions of celebration.
