Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant provides support to the administrative team and serves as the primary point of contact for the President. The Administrative Assistant also organizes and coordinates executive outreach for business development and external/internal relations efforts; and manages special projects. The Administrative Assistant must be energetic, creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment that is results-driven and community oriented.  The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, keep a keen eye on detail, and present projects and information on a deadline while being proactive with anticipation of the President’s needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule and maintain the extensive working calendar of the President
  • Draft and edit correspondence including letters, online postings, press releases, internal communication, and email responses
  • Organize travel arrangements in detail
  • Manage all special projects from inception to completion
  • Research and prepare data to support President’s projects and company objectives
  • Sort and maintain filing systems for key documents and past archives
  • Exemplify core competencies and culture standards in everyday interactions both internally and externally
  • Prioritize workload effectively with an ability to adapt quickly to daily needs and changes

Experience and Education

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive
  • Data entry and account management in a CRM system – FileMaker (Claris) or similar
  • Previous experience in a role that showcases time-management, communication, and organizational abilities
