“Arvell & Company were amazing! As the bride, you want everything to run perfectly and smoothly, and you want music that will get everyone on the dance floor, whether fast or slow. Arvell was PERFECT in all aspects! He was incredibly professional, and made sure he had prompts from our wedding planner to read every name in the right order throughout the night.
And the singing, ohhh the singing!!! For anyone looking to create a unique and special vibe, book Arvell! He sang such a cool mix of classics and modern songs that really got everyone dancing. He has a great eye for what the crowd is into. The woman singer in his group rocks too, and the horn instruments had such a cool sound. He even let my brother play with the band for one of the songs! For the father daughter dance he sang “Shama Lama” from Animal House and it was so neat! He told us he had not played that song before, but that he was happy to learn it for our dance! Having Arvell made my wedding feel truly special.
Many many people came up to me after the wedding and even weeks later to tell me that was the best wedding band they have heard! There is something so classic and beautiful about having talented live singers! You will not regret choosing Arvell!”

“We hired the Jazz Trio during dinner and the 9 piece Charles Glenn Band for the reception. BOTH WERE AMAZING!!!!
I hired the band without ever hearing them live, so I was a little nervous….the music turned out to be better than I could have imagined. I cannot tell you how many guests said it was the best music they have heard at a wedding. The band played a great mix of oldies and current songs to get everyone dancing.
My favorite aspect was that both Charles and his wife (female singer) mixed in with the crowd to really get everyone into the music. First class performance all the way. Without a doubt, hiring Charles Glenn was one of the best wedding decisions I made. You will not be disappointed!”

5.18.13 Griffin and the Gargoyles
“We found Griffin and the Gargoyles via their website as we were planning our wedding in St. Louis from Seattle. We actually crossed our fingers and booked the seven piece band prior to us seeing them perform live (we were able to get to St. Louis and see them live prior to the wedding). We couldn’t have been more pleased with their actual performance during the reception! I think I only left the dance floor for one song (as the bride)!
Griffin coordinated with us prior to the reception to find out which songs we loved and which to avoid. Our first dance song they played was AMAZING! (Sister Hazel – This Kind of Love). The dance floor was always full and their song versatility (country, rap, 80’s rock, etc.) is second to none. We would 100% recommend them to any bride/groom planning their wedding.”
