Fronted by Jefferson County native Bobby Ford, the Bobby Ford Band plays country and nothing but. Bobby found his voice at 16, when a dare put him in his first talent show and he won it singing a cappella. He moved to Nashville at 21 to chase the dream, then brought it home to St. Louis, where the band has built a following playing to crowds from 300 to 3,000.

The lineup pairs Bobby on lead vocals with Chet Votruba and Chris Konya on guitar, Steve McNicol on bass, Connor Coffey on fiddle and Gabe Pecher on drums. Connor’s classical training and Mark O’Connor-inspired fiddle give the band a sound most country acts can’t match. Whether the dress code is white glove or jeans and boots, they keep the dance floor full all night.

Years before I was even engaged, I heard this band play and made my now husband promise that we would hire them to play at our wedding! The team is so kind, they were very responsive, and played one HECK of a show! We got so many compliments on how wonderful the band was--it truly was like a concert at our wedding, and the dance floor was ALIVE all night! They played during our ceremony and special dances as well. The team was so easy to work with and so personable. We had such a great night with them that we saw them at a public venue the following night! Every penny we spent on them was worth it!
