Mr. Blue Sky brings all the majestic splendor of Electric Light Orchestra to the stage. Founded by veteran St. Louis musician Jeff Faulkner, the band recreates the definitive ELO sound with extreme precision: complex classical string arrangements, layered vocal harmonies and the big, bright hooks of “Evil Woman,” “Livin’ Thing,” “Don’t Bring Me Down” and, of course, “Mr. Blue Sky.”
Book Us!The 10-piece lineup includes a three-piece string section of two violins and cello, with members who have performed with The Who, Pavlov’s Dog, Weird Al Yankovic and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. The set focuses on ELO’s hits from the 70s and 80s and their latest records, with selective deep cuts for the die-hard fans, all backed by a light and multimedia show built for theater stages.
