Made up of a revolving cast of the St. Louis area’s finest musicians, the band is dedicated to playing classic rock & roll, soul, and throwback songbooks. As musical director for the Voodoo Players, Canan recreates and reinterprets music by a wide array of legendary artists. The band’s high-energy improvisation pays homage to the artists’ enduring works while adding a uniquely different perspective that appeals to long-time fans and new listeners alike.  Its talented network of musicians allows Voodoo Players and Voodoo Mixtape to keep the songs and performances fresh.
